The Art of Being Present

Are you ready to dive deep into the art of being present? 
Let's embark on a journey of self-remembering and mindfulness like no other.

In a world that's constantly buzzing with activity, finding moments of stillness can feel like a rare luxury. But trust me friends, the magic happens when we learn to fully inhabit each moment.

One of my favorite ways to practice presence is through mindful meditation.

I set aside a few minutes each day to sit quietly, close my eyes, and focus on my breath, is it shallow or deep? As sensations, thoughts and feelings come and go, I gently bring my attention back to the present moment, anchoring myself in the here and now. It's a simple yet powerful practice that helps me to cultivate a deeper sense of serenity and clarity about what my priorities actually are.

Taking the time to embrace the power of now by practicing gratitude each day is one of my go-to’s. I take a few moments to reflect on the things I'm grateful for, whether it's a warm cup of matcha in the morning or a heartfelt conversation with a loved one. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude helps me to appreciate the beauty and abundance that surrounds me, right here, right now.

Gratitude allows me to check in with myself, see how I'm feeling, what I am ok with and what I'd like to shift - because it’s not feeling quite right. Too often we make excuses “oh, its good enough” when in fact, we aren't ok with it and push it down.

Finding my way into living a life I love has been guided by the practice of meditation, of taking to time to truly feel into what's going on with me. It helps me make decisions that I feel GREAT about, get ENERGIZED by, and discern what gives me a full sense of satisfaction each day.
